MISS SUZI
Head Instructor | Baton
A native of Florida with over 50 years of twirling experience. Suzi twirled competitively since the age of five. At the age of 14, Miss Suzi began her teaching career in BATON/TWIRLING. During this time, she began her own company, STARLITE Twirlers of Manatee County. Still teaching today, she has had numerous State, Regional and National Championship Titles from her twirlers.
Baton Twirling in compasses so many athletic abilities with technical skills along with ballet , dance, jazz, and gymnastics . It’s all in baton twirling. It is a disciplined skilled sport and one that she truly loves with so many incredible opportunities that Baton Twirling offers.
Miss Suzi is excited to continue teaching her passion of BATON/TWIRLING to the studio of Major Productions Studio of Dance.
A little bit about Miss Suzi's family and their accomplishments from twirling.
Miss Suzi’s daughter, Chloe was a State, Regional and National champion twirler for 20 years and with the buccaneers for 8 years while traveling the globe as a National Baton Twirler Ambassador in Peru and a TBBC NFL Cheerleader of Tampa Buccaneers as she performed for the USO Tours.
Today, she continues to teach her 10 year old granddaughter, Ava Grace. Ave Grace holds State and Regional Titles. She has placed top 5 at AYOP Nationals for 2 years. Ava Grace holds the National title of AAU Junior Olympics Games -All Around Twirling Champion with 2 Gold … 3 Silver..,and 2 Bronze Medals.
