SUMMER INTENSIVES 
We are hosting a full week of intensives for age groups 7 & Up for dancers who wish to become a part of our 2023 - 2024 Competition Team! Dancers will attend various classes throughout their designated days and time. Team pieces will be set based from these classes.

MISS ADRIANA
MPSD Competition Director | Head Instructor | Competition & Recreational Classes
Acro/Tumbling, Tumble Bugs, Poms, Jazz, Lyrical, Ballet, and Hip Hop
Adriana has been dancing and training in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip Hop and Acro for over 15 years. She has trained under the direction of former principal dancers as well as many award winning choreographers. During this time, she danced competitively and competed in a variety of styles. After graduating high school, Adriana was given the opportunity to teach at a few local dance studios. This is where she found her passion in teaching and choreographing. Adriana has been teaching for over 4 years and her work has received many choreography awards, 1st overall placements as well as many other recognitions. Adriana is currently serving as our Competition Team Director.  
 
 
MISS MARISSA
Head Instructor | Competition & Recreational Classes | Ballet Director
Ballet, Stretch & Flexibility
Marissa began her Russian Vaganova training in Orlando, Fl, in 2003 at Central Florida Ballet. In 2011 she began studying under Katerina Fedotova at the prestigious Russian Ballet Orlando.

She was quickly promoted to principal dancer and debuted in The Sleeping Beauty, performing Aurora's role at age 16. After that, she began to teach the younger students. She excelled, becoming a leading teacher for all beginner-advanced students and running various programs, including their adult program, Primary & Intermediate Program, along with running administrative tasks. In 2022 she choreographed & directed her first production of The Nutcracker Jr.

She has worked with world-renown choreographers and coaches, including Katerina Fedotova, Vadim Fedotov, Irina Depler, Peter Stark, Olivier Munoz, Heather Fryxell, and Natalia Bashkatova.

From 2011 - 2022 her repertoire includes principal and soloist roles from Carmen, Sleeping Beauty, La Bayadere, Esmeralda, Swan Lake, Cinderella, Snow Queen, Snow White, The Nutcracker, Don Quixote, Romeo & Juliet, and more. In addition, she has guest performed with Ballet Fedotov in multiple performances & Florida Arts and Dance Theatre for their 2015 - 2019 Nutcracker seasons as Sugar Plum.
 
 
 
MISS LEIGHANNA
Founder of Industry Dance Workshop
 
 
Leighanna Kennett is a Professional Dancer/Choreographer/Convention Teacher signed by The Movement Talent Agency in Los Angeles. She is also the founder of the dance convention, Industry Dance Workshop. She grew up studying all styles of dance and acrobatics in Upstate NY at The United Academy of The Performing Arts and The Mohawk Valley Ballet. Before moving to Los Angeles, Leighannaattended The University of The Arts, in Philadelphia, with a "Promising Artist" Scholarship and received her BFA in Dance with honors. Some of Leighanna's credits include, The Ellen Degeneres Show, Disney Channel, NBC's This Is Us, ABC's Localish, Freeform's The Twins, The Mindy Project, So You Think You Can Dance Vegas Finalist, Revenge Body with Khloe Kardashian, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, Sarah Silverman, Amber Rose, Brooke Fraser, DJ Mustard, LA Philharmonic, Adidas, Onzie Fitness Apparel and More. Besides being a performing artist, Leighanna is also the Artistic Director and creator of Impavid. Dance Company which has caught the eye of various Choreographer's showcases and TV Shows. Leighanna works with dancers from all over the country and loves being a part of their journey.
 
 
 
MISS JULIANNE
Judges for FLY and ID Dance Competition
Independent Choreographer 
Julianne Fernandez, also known as “Dance With Jules,” is a technique and strength coach based out of Miami, Florida. She is a Certified Personal Trainer for dancers highlighting the importance of incorporating strength training into a dancer's regimen. Since 2014, Julianne has choreographed and worked with countless dance studios, dance teams, and dancers across Florida and the United States. “Dance With Jules” works with individual dancers from all over the country with the intent to improve the technical achievement of dancers in correlation to the demand for optimal technique in the competitive dance industry. In addition to her freelance work, Julianne is the Assistant Director of Moving Artist Dance Company in Miami, Florida. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Literature and a Minor in Child Development from Florida State University. Julianne has a wide range of experience from working on music videos to coaching dancers in the competitive dance industry as an adjudicator and educator.
 
 
 
MISS ZOE
Teaching Stretch and Flexibility
Zoe is a former rhythmic gymnast of 10 years who has trained internationally with various national team coaches from Ukraine, Germany, and the USA. During that time, She was fortunate enough to live in Germany and train with the national team in Schmieden. When she returned home to Tampa, she had the opportunity to train as a competitive dancer for 3 years. Since then, She have been teaching stretch classes in the Tampa Bay area at various ballet and dance studios. Zoe also performs as a contortionist with Aerial Dragons Entertainment in Tampa!
 
 
MISS JAMIE
Owner of Soul Studios
Teaching Improv 
 Miss Jamie was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina and began her dance training at the age of 4. She grew up competing at one of the top studios in the nation, The Southern Strutt. In her years both dancing and teaching she has had the opportunity to dance alongside and work with well known choreographers such as Dee Caspary, Justin Giles, Ray Leeper, Caroline Lewis Jones and Mandy Moore. Jamie was awarded several Top Teacher and Choreography Awards in the competitive circuit of dance while teaching at The Southern Strutt and other Florida studios. In 2011 Jamie opened Soul Studios and since has spent hours working closely with children in the class room and fully understands what is necessary to make a well rounded dancer and human. Many of her alumni have gone on to pursue professional careers as dancers, choreographers, models, and to work on the convention circuit. She choreographed and composed nationally competitive level dances, as well as prepared students ages 5 - 18 for regional competitions and most importantly, motivated and led teen development. Jamie has changed children’s lives and impacted them in an extremely positive way through her innovative approach to dance. Although dance is her passion, Jamie achieved a Bachelors Degree in Alternative Medicine and is also a Licensed Massage Therapist. She has a vast array of knowledge in nutrition, anatomy & physiology, and specialized training techniques which she also incorporates into the training of her students.
