Bekah Joy Howard is a dance educator and choreographer based out of Tampa, FL and NYC. Bekah attended New York University and the Swedish Institute for Health and Sciences. She most recently worked as the Educational Programs Coordinator for Broadway Dance Center in NYC, managing and directing over 300 full time pre-professional students. Currently Bekah works as both a dance educator and a licensed massage therapist in the central Florida area.

 

Bekah is a member of CLOUDE.NYC and Dancepack, and has performed for choreographers Derek Mitchell, Emily Greenwell, Hayden J Frederick, Emily Bufferd, and Lane Napper. She has been featured as a dancer on the Today Show and an athlete in national commercials for K Factor Plus Resistance Bands. Bekah has also performed in John Brown’s production of “Requiem for a Young Man” in Orlando, FL.

 

Bekah's choreography credits include Disney +'s movie premier of Sneakerella, “The Giving Tree”, Think Tank the showcase, the 2017 Young Choreographer’s Festival, Peridance’s APEX Showcase, the Boston Contemporary Dance Festival, Jared Grimes’ “Run the Night,” and Shelly Hutchinson’s “New York Moves.”

 

Bekah has worked on faculty at Broadway Dance Center’s Children and Teen Program, as well as a founding director of Koin and Co Dancers Junior Training Program. She leads “improv jams” for program students at Broadway Dance Center, and she is guest faculty at Underground Movement in Orlando, FL. Through performance and choreography, Bekah has developed a passion for teaching and sharing, and hopes to spread creativity and light with everyone she gets the chance to connect to.
