Jazmin started training at the age of 5 years old with the RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) Ballet Program, in which she received a scholarship to attend there summer intensive and was awarded multiple distinctions on her annual ballet exams. After expanding her knowledge in other various styles of dance such as tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop and acrobatics, she opened her own Dance Studio in Los Angeles, CA in which she ran for 12 years with her mother. Her studio than became competitive, winning multiple awards, many awarded to her as choreography awards along with her groups and solos winning multiple 1st overalls ranging from ages 5-18. After the closure of her studio, she began to expand her horizons with other competitive dance studios, staying consistent in teaching and winning awards. Many of the students that she has instructed are now working in the industry, and are pursuing their passion as dancers. Her goal is always to teach strong technique to her dancers, and to share in the love of dance that she has for the art.
