Miss Stacy Charette has over 30 years of experience in the dance world. She began dancing at the age of ten at McKeon’s School of Dance and Gymnastics in Massachusetts where she competed at regional and national level dance competitions. She also competed as a USGF gymnast. Stacy was awarded many prestigious awards as a dancer and gymnast and even performed in the 10th world Gymnaestrada in Berlin Germany. She then attended University of the Arts in Philadelphia with a promising artist scholarship, transferred to Rhode Island College to take elementary education courses where she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.


After graduation Stacy began dancing professionally with Fusionworks Dance Company in Rhode Island. She has taught at many studios in Rhode Island and Massachusetts then moved to Florida where she taught at several local Sarasota studios. Stacy has judged for Dance Xplosion and Turn It Up Dance Competitions on a regional and national level. She also worked as the Regional Director of Turn It Up Dance Challenge for several years. Stacy owned her own dance studio in Sarasota for eleven years and won sportsmanship awards, excellence in lyrical, excellence in Jazz and the ADCC Studio of Excellence Award. Stacy now has a Florida Dance Teacher Certificate and teaches at Manatee Learning Academy. Stacy has a love and passion for dance and is excited to share her knowledge with students of all ages. Stacy is very happy to become a part of Major Productions Studio of Dance.
