Although there is not an official Daisy badge for them to earn on their journey through Girl Scouts, we are happy to help them earn a "Fun Badge" that they can place on the back of their vest or sash.
Earning their Dance Badge as a Brownie is an exciting time! This official badge will allow the girls to learn basic dance skills while continuing to build life-long friendships with the girls in their troop by team building.
Same as the Daisies, the Dance Badge is not an official badge. We will spend this time working towards a "Fun Badge" for them to show proudly on the back of their vest or sash.
1 Hour Class Includes:
We will begin with a warm up to properly stretch their muscles, followed by a combination prepared for them by one of the MPSD staff. Then, moving into across the floor section with leaps and turns, and an improv section for them to prepare their own piece or with a group. We will conclude with a short performance at the end.
Each Girl Scout in attendance will also receive a gift from MPSD that will include a FREE dance class of their choice. We want to ensure that every scout has the opportunity to continue their dance journey with us.
