Teddy Bear "Toss"

It's that time of year again to host the highly anticipated 3rd annual Teddy Bear "Toss"! Miss Tracy, our studio director, is incredibly passionate about making a difference. My passions in life - hockey and dance - are about to combine in the most remarkable way to benefit our community. In the world of minor league hockey, it has become a cherished tradition to shower the ice with new or gently used stuffed animals whenever the home team scores during a designated game. Inspired, I decided to bring this tradition to Lightning High School Hockey and the talented dancers of Major Productions Studio of Dance. From November 13 to December 1, we are launching a heartfelt campaign to collect new or gently used stuffed animals. These donations will be given to the children in the Manatee County Foster Care System, through the incredible support of Guardian Angels of Southwest Florida. It fills our hearts with gratitude to share that, over the past 2 years, we have managed to donate nearly 1,000 stuffed animals, bringing joy and warmth to these children during Christmas time. We kindly request you to bring in your stuffed animal donations to the studio during our regular business hours. You can find designated boxes outside each dance room or directly deliver them to our office. Remember, every single stuffed animal makes a difference!
