Withdrawal Policy
We want every dancer to feel happy, confident, and settled in their classes. If your dancer is not fully adjusted to their chosen class or classes within the first 30 days of enrollment, you may withdraw from the program without any further payments, as long as the withdrawal request is submitted before the 24th of the month by 12:00 PM/noon.
After the first 30 days of enrollment, a 30-day written notice is required to withdraw your dancer from class.
No matter when submitted, the withdrawal notice must be submitted by the registering parent/guardian listed on the account. Any and all payments submitted to MPSD are non-refundable.
Withdrawal notices may be submitted by mail or email to MPSD. Once your notice is received, MPSD will confirm your dancer’s official drop date and any final tuition balance by email.
Your dancer is welcome to continue attending all scheduled classes through the confirmed drop date. If the 30-day notice period extends into the following month, tuition will be prorated as needed.
Once proper withdrawal notice has been received, any additional fees due within the 30-day withdrawal period, such as costume fees, will not be charged.
Failure to Provide Notice
If a dancer stops attending classes without submitting a 30-day written withdrawal notice, the dancer will continue to be marked absent until proper notice is received.
Monthly tuition and any applicable fees will continue to be processed as scheduled, and the dancer’s spot in class will be held through the completion of the location’s recital season.
Recital completion dates are as follows:
North River (Ellenton): June 6, 2027
After School Programs: June 6, 2027
Smarty Pants: June 6, 2027
Withdrawal After March 1, 2027
Due to the timing in the year and the proximity to our year-end recital, we do not accept withdrawal notices. All fees including but not limited to tuition, costumes, recital fees, etc will continue to be processed as normal.
